Anyone run the CONTINENTAL RADIAL SLICK TIRES GT-O tires? Faster/slower than R6's?
Trying to decide what to use at the Lime Rock Race.

The GT-O is an oval track tire, (Daytona, Indy) and has the same compound as the R6. I would think the GT-O would be faster as there is no DOT compromise. And they are giving them away at Hoosier.

Mike or Who ever might know,
Do you have any experience with the Pirelli slicks for a 6 cup ?I was wondering if they are better than the Michelins.Of course the only Michelins I have ever used are 2 years old!
Thanks

I used Pirellis back in '09 and they were great. Used them again on Tuesday but a messed-up LSD made the car a beast in back. But the front was amazing...
I think the Michelins might be faster for 2-3 heat cycles then the Pirellis would be faster and last longer.

Ron,
I got them from Frisby Race Tire, email Bob at bschaefer@frisbyracetire.com. They got here to the East coast quickly.
