Default Registration for COTA DE Open

I am sure that the the ones that want to attend already registered. The server was stable for me ... However, took a little while to click through all the "options".

No the wait begins. Does anyone know when to expect confirmation?

Thanks

I'll feel like I'm 75% of the way to winning the DE just by paying at 12:00.30.

Chris Alvarado posted on another site that CR.net had 127 registrations in the first minute after opening up for COTA. WOW!

I will be doing the classroom sessions (in addition to coaching some of the racers), so I can help.

I was impressed with the performance of CR. You could tell the last few refreshes before 12 CST were slower and other than a hiccup right at 12 it stayed up. My paypal payment didn't register until 12:03.

I got hung up on car number, as it wasn't automatic, and then it bitched about the T-shirt size I don't give a crap about the T-shirt.

The original notice said it was to be based on timestamp, not payment. This was something the LSR registrar also said at the Texas 2 Step CR/DE last month.

Also no roster, I've got a feeling with the three regions, the divi'ed up slots and the PCA CR experience required that the registrar(s) will be doing a lot of things manually.

The original notice also had a very short cutoff date, something like 4/13, although if we were honest, a cutoff of 12:10PM CST would likely do the job.

I was stuck in meetings until 1:30. It did not say that the event was closed and was more than happy to take my money. So we shall see.
