Tahoe or Sequoia...You Help Decide.
All,
Doing some research as I think it is time to change my tow vehicle/DD.
I'm specifically looking at the Tahoe and Sequoia, so would like to get your experiences/thoughts on quality and total cost of ownership over time. I will buy a used one probably with 30-40k miles on the clock, but want to keep it for a long time.
I need the 3rd row of seats for kid duty and my trailering is 3-5 events a year with a trailex trailer and the 964 and standard stuff along with my Dad. I've had no issues trailering with my current 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee (Hemi), but expect either of these options will tow even better.
So, what I would like to learn from this group is experiences around durability over time of the two trucks with some towing duty. Obviously the Toyota has a good reputation, but is that just rumor or real vs the Chevy. I've read some folks have issues with the Tahoe transmission, but what has this group experienced?
Let me know your experiences and thank you!
