No doubt guys! Not sure how the cars matched exactly, but, no matter. To beat Cliff with is a heck of an accomplishment IMHO. Kudos Joe, great driving!

Not really sure what you meant by that. But, anytime you feel frisky and your head is a little too large for your helmet, strap on a spec miata and put it in any national race.

I'm probably taking this a little more serious than I should, but if I was that guy that had $10k on the line, I wouldn't want to go up against a Pro driver.

The race posted above was a good race between what appeared to be two very competent drivers
SPOILER ALERT!

It was actually John Schneider from "Dukes of Hazard" and he was horrible. Couldn't keep it on the track.

Debate within the Series rages as to whether Joe Boy was batting for the right team, but we won't let that diminish his victory. He gotter done:

If you saw the entire show when they were talking with Joe and teasing him about his grocery getter, he said he "didn't bring his "Porsche Race car because he would have walked the dog with them" so he brought his wife's car.

It must have come out wrong. I meant only that the show is supposed to be about rednecks driving muscle cars. How do you call someone willing to race a SM (and, especially, a driver good enough to win with it) a redneck?

But it fits with the show's path. Kenny Wallace driving the final wasn't exactly fair to the show's participants.

I'm sorry, but that show is an insult to anyone with an IQ above room temperature.

Aren't you the same guys who were bemoaning how AWFUL Speed Channel had gotten? $10,000 prize money for 3 laps? That's more than Grand Am pays, and you have to bring your own car.

No worries. My bad. I never knew how competitive SM was until I got into it. It gets a bad rap with the close racing and fender benders.

Gotta agree...look at the host! Kinda goes along with most TV these days unfortunately. I'm waiting to participate in "RU Faster Than a Redneck in a German Car". I'll be the redneck in the Porsche.

I think the shows been great, funny and I was surprised they let them race that hard. I think the wagon had more HP than listed as it pulled everything to T1.

For 10k, the host can have whoever he wants drive the car, the challenger isn't putting up any cash.
Yes, pays way better than most porsche racing.
