I fell in love with this track last October.I did a driving school there for the Ford Gt owners .Must say my friend John Crosby was a huge help in teaching me the track and helping me find instructors as well as instructing too.
If you have not been there the track is awesome! The owner is a true track /car guy! Very passionate! He even hosted a party for us at his condo!
Wish I could go ,but plan on getting back there in the future! Here is a video of what it looks like from a Ford GT .Love the car and the track!
160+ down the front straight!

Where does a person pass a car on this Wilson creation? I love new tracks and will definitely be there.

Mike and all, I'm going to be the PCA CR steward for this inaugural PCA CR at NOLA and for this event, and this event only, all 13/13 rules, compliance rules, and class rules will be thrown out the window.
Run what you brung and don't worry if you "rub" a bit, after all "rubbin' is racin'"
We'll also allow racers to make "suitable payments" to improve their positions on the grid and for the right price, you can even buy an inopportune black flag for that certain competitor you don't like.
Come on down to NOLA
Should be a great time!

Let's open it up to licensed SCCA racers too - that way we can guarantee some "rubbin'" .

Does his mean I can remove the ballast I bolted in to make legal weight? Or can I leave it near the scales and set it in the car before getting on the scales? Just curious(and kidding). Trying to keep the thread alive!

Just saw two run groups on the Reg. web site....... Why? Less than 20 cars per group on a 2.75 mile track...
Again I sure hope more racers sign up.
