I thought that was already legal.......those couches I have seen on the track look like 944's....

When I raced motorcycles, there was a guy in our club that covered his race bike bodywork in fur.......not surprisingly, he wasn't one of the faster racers.

That's what the Specmeotters need.

It pays for its running costs with the change between the cushions.

Looks like more of a safety requirement ...

The 2.0 litre 924 is allowed to run in Spec 944? Seems strange, it wouldn't be too competitive, even with the couch modification.

A 924 turbo is eligible for SP2. A regular 924 would run in PCA A class.

Thanks, Sam

Graphics are in progress, and the rain gutter just went back on last night, in Gaurds Red like the mirrors. The blue looks darker than it really is. It's Harley Davidson Cobalt Blue

It's been fun to spruce up the car over the winter.

It's great to live in a small town - 3 colors, two stage paint, and 12 wheels done two tone, by a body shop, for $1K (I did the prep work).

Those wheels are the new summer shoes for the Durango tow rig. Believe it or not, that is the OEM 265/50/20 size - -more than 6" bigger in diameter than the 944's little 225/50/15's!

Your car(minus the big shoes) looks great. Please post pics when the graphics are on it.

Are you planing on coming to Mosport for the VARAC Vintage Festival? Porsche is the featured Marque for the event and will spotlight the 944 Cup race June 14-16. This is one track that you must stroke off your bucket list.

4 bolt rims usually means NA. Unless it is a very rare early '79 931 with rear drums.

Didn't know the 931 was eligible SP2. Good info Van.
