When I was racing motorcycles hot and heavy, a group of us crazies in the SF Bay Area discussed going over and racing the TT. After all, many of us started out as "Squid Hunters" riding like mad men in the Santa Cruz mountains. It ended up being mostly talk. One racer did go over many times and told us how insane it really was. Most fun he ever had but the risk was huge.
I got out of motorcycle racing in almost perfect condition. Can't say the same for many of my friends. It was the most fun I ever had. But I'll stick to cars with roll cages, Hans Devices, and 6-point harnesses!
