Default Still on the fence about Performance Friction Pads?

Fellow Rennlisters:
With all the discussion of which pads and which rotors to run, we figured we would make it really easy for those of you who haven't jumped on the PFC train yet.

We are so sure that you will like Performance Friction pads that we are going to guarantee it. Buy a set of PF pads and try them for a weekend. If you aren't satisfied, we will take them back and exchange them for the Pagid or Hawk pad of your choice (or the equivalent in store credit).

Also, as part of this special, with a $200 brake pad purchase, all brake fluids we stock are half price!

Details can be found here:

Hi Steve:
Awesome! Yep, we got them from us. That was a fun ride around TWS! If I don't make TWS, I'll be at COTA in May for the PCA race.

I'll be at both events so my right seat is open any time. Send V the the fluid as I need it.
I'll need both for COTA's T12. Look forward to another run with you.

Mark See you Thursday morning in Sebring. Hope you are bringing some extra pads. I think Charlie is looking to run them as well this weekend.

I don't think you will be getting many back! They are amazing on my '73.

I took some very good advice from none other than Gary and Sean years ago when I started racing. They said use PF97. I did. I've never looked back. I currently use PF06 and 08.

You won't return them.

Any idea as to when PFC will have pads available for the 991? I'd love to try out a set of 08s. I ran 01s on M3 and absolutely loved them.

I like the 01's on the front/rear of my 996 B1 car... is there any reason to try the 06 or 08 compounds instead?

The 08s will have a little less initial bite, but will increase rotor life. The 06 is eventually going to be phased out.

My feeling is that if you are happy with the characteristics of the 01, then no reason to change.

We've asked about pads for the 991 and have been told they are in development, but I don't currently have any further information.

Thanks,
