Default Looking for an RSR Street/DE project?

I'm toying with the idea of selling my project as I don't see me completing it in the near future. The is a post on Pelican discussing it's worth if you are interested.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...r-project.html

Thanks

No, interior is clean. As I intend(ed) to use period low buckets (GTS RSR 6000 seats most likely) I would have put a simple roll bar in at best just to hold the harnesses.

I remember when you started that project and had the paint done. Every time I see your sig I wonder what the status is. It's too bad you won't have time to finish it. GLWS.

If it were me, I'd do like you mention in the other thread and take a year off from racing and complete this project. A year off from racing while painful is bearable, especially if completion of a sweet RSR is just around the corner and racing can resume in 2014 with renewed focus and energy!

Thanks Mark, but due to some out in left field financial issues that slammed me in 2012 (and early 2013!) it isn't either/or. BOTH will sit out 2013...

That's sucks. Hope you can recover relatively quickly.

What's the rental rate on those 15" Jongbloed 316 Aero's?

Whatever the race insurance and my enduro seat cost! Come with 3HC R6's too!

Sorry to hear that you are sitting out this year. What is left to do on the car?

Which car Scott? RSR, about 100 hours and $15K to be perfect, race car about $6K and a few hours to be ready to race.

Sorry to hear about your surprises; hopefully you'll still be your witty self on RL.

I don't want to be a jerk, but you do have two kidneys, two lungs, a right arm, etc. No reason you can't get both done.

Tempting, but sounds a little steep. However, probably less than each of our most recent enduros!

Very cool project and well worth $20K. But seems to be too many threads all pointing at each other in other forum sections, I gave up after 4 tabs were open. Don't mean to be negative but one thread would be better so we could see what you have.

I was asking about the former but I'm glad to hear that the race car is that close.

It was a tough year for many of us.
