Sad news
George Weathered Jr, son and nephew of George and Brian Weathered of Midwest Eurosport passed away from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
George Sr. and Brian have been longtime supporters of PCA Club racing, and they're just good people. They've done a lot of good work for me and my father over the years.
If you know them, please extend your condolences.

Very sad news indeed. Over the last few years I have come to consider the Weathereds my friends and this is heart breaking news. No parent should ever have to bury their child. I can't even begin to imagine George's pain. George Jr, you will be missed. RIP.

It was through George that I first learned about GT. He recommended using one of your diffs in my 993 RSR, and he was/is a big proponent of your products.

Every year I look forward to seeing them down at the 48 Hours of Sebring and hanging out for a few hours in their rig with them and their crew. If they still come down this year I don't even know how I'll handle it under the circumstances. I'm choked up just sitting here thinking about it.

Yep. George and Brian both are excellent customers and big propronents for my brand. I was totally flattered when 2 years ago they invited me out to speak at their PCA open house event. They picked me up at my hotel room, fed me for 2 days and drove me to and from the airport. Nobody had ever asked me to give a tech clinic on gearboxes before. That they thought that highly of me meant a lot to me.
