Kisik,
PS2's are great, I ran those when I was in Blue, though I've heard great reports on the newer Super Sports. A friend used the Bridgestones when he was in blue and had good reports on that tire. Both will do well in most conditions, dry/rain. You might want to hold off on the Cups and the R888's till you're in white, they will have more grip, but are a little peakier, they others will provide more progressive feedback.
Can't comment on the other options as I've not used them.
Cheers

Bridgestone RE-11 or Yokohama AD08 will give you the best grip for the lifespan. Can be driven to the track as well.
Please give me a call if you'd like to order. Thanks.

Best DE tire.....
For a blue student and your skills and car and be a wide variety. Blue student are just getting into solo or can still be instructed. You can still run a street tire but are getting to the point of where you can start to run a R-Comp tire that is still streetable so you can drive it to and from the track.
For a street tire that work ok at DE I suggest:
Michelin Pilot Super Sports
Yokohama AD08
Bridgestone RE11
For a R-Comp Tire that is still street able for DE I suggest
Nitto NT01
Pirelli Trofeo
Michelin Pilot Sport Cups
Pirelli Corsa
Toyo R888 * Toyo is having tread seem split issues with R888 so for now I'd street clear until they figure this out. I have this issue and will see what Toyo says when they receive 4 R888 fronts that are splitting at the seems.
The Nitto NT01 is becoming the best bang for the buck DE tire around. However you will need to run 9x18 and 12x18 wheels. I suggest contacting Damon at Tire Rack for some wheels or some of the tires listed. Damon is great to work with and he knows his product and is through and a professional at his job. The OZ HLT series of wheels he has are excellent and great bang for the buck. Also check out CCW (Complete Custom Wheels) in Daytona Beach FL. They make great forged wheels for track use and are very popular. There is a set for sale here on rennlist too!
I have lots of track experience with both 19" and 18" I recommend these sizes:
19"
245/35/19....I tried 235's and not enough front grip then moved to 245 and there was a nice difference
305/30/19
18"
255/35/18
315/30/18
or
245/40/18
305/35/18
Also for the r-comp tires and this will work good with the street tires too you should invest in either Porsche GT3 Lower Control Arms or RSS Lower Control Arms. These lower control arms will allow you to get more front camber because they are adjustable so that you do not wear out the outside shoulder on the front tires.

AD08 gor the win, relatively inexpensive, last 8 to 10 days and like heat better than the RE11. Michelin PSS are great in the wet but AD08 much better dry tire. Not sure on sizes but if they make the right size the Hankook RS-3 is really good once they get a little heat.

Some good advice in here. I'm currently running RE050As on a 997 Turbo, and I was going to order MPSSs to replace them. I think I'm going to do with the AD08 instead. Damon, I'll give you a call in a bit.
