Default 924s Lemons or ChumpCar Candidate.... or Restore to its former Glory $250

What i have here is an 88 924S with a fiberglass body Kit on the rear. This car has a title. The body is straight and rust free. The windshield has a small crack. All other glass is good. I bought this car for the transmission, which I will remove. I can get $200, without suspension) from a Scrap yard (Crusher) about 1/2 mile from my shop.

It now has a usable, slightly tweaked hood and a nose panel. 944 fenders will bolt on.

The car is located in Beaufort, SC.

I really hate to crush any still usable Porsche, but I really need the space. The car will come with 4 crap wheels and front and rear suspension. I can help with towing it a reasonable distance for my expenses.

I will be picking up a couple of Cars, one in Jacksonville, FL and one in Statesville, NC and might deliver it to those areas for 1/2 expenses. I will also be going up to Delaware and could deliver it along I95.

So go green and help save this 924S from the crusher.

it has potential as a chump-lemons racer....however the 924-944 is quite under powered vs the current trend in top finishers in "crap can racing"......while it can podium....the chances of winning is quite low.... just like how a stock engined miata has about no chance....you really could show up with a true spec miata on street tires.....you won't win....not even close.....it just doesn't have the power to make the passes in heavy traffic....

I think most of the fun in "crap can racing" is just seeing if you can finish. I know of 2 944s, 1 ChumpCar and one Lemons car currently under construction. I sold my wrecked SP2 roller to someone building one of them. https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...-chumpcar.html
