I thought, if you have a triple layer suit, you didn't need fireproof underwear. (what is it 3.2A/10 ?)

so you could wear the carbonX...no? PCA requires nomex?

the wicking factor makes me want to wear it.

from 2012 PCA Club Racing Rule Book:

"A one piece approved fire retardant driving suit which meets or exceeds SFI 3.2A/5 or FIA 8856-2000 is required. The suit may meet SFI 3.2A/1 if fire retardant long underwear is also worn. Driving shoes and gloves meeting SFI 3.3/5 or FIA 8856-2000 are required. Fire retardant sox are required. Drivers with mustaches, beards or long hair extending below the helmet must wear a fire retardant balaclava."

See you at Sebring Rick!

Thanks, 3.2A/5 is the 'triple layer' I was thinking of...

I guess I can't imagine anyone actually buying a SFI 3.2A/1 suit...

We're big fans of the Alpinestars stuff. I find their fabrics incredibly light weight. The GP Tech suits are durable, look great, fit nicely, and breath really well. they also have fantastic nomex undergarments and balaclavas, gloves, shoes. etc.

We like Sparco a lot but i find the Alpinestars a bit more form fitting which some of our drivers like a lot.
