So true. All this is is gathering data and most importantly how much will the track rubber in and what kind of degradation will occur with a full tank of fuel. NO one has tested here with the exception of a 2 year old lotus driving by Mario Andretti.

Although the RBR is the best out there, I expect Mac and Ferrari to be more competitive by the time qualifying rolls around tomorrow afternoon

Jesus, apparently whoever is responsible for boosting ticket sales at the GP must also be in charge of at least one of the SEC football add campaigns.

Oh, and Newey's car will win.

VETTEL. He sat out most of P2 because his car was leaking. Leaking the magic unicorn blood that makes his car faster than all others.

RL and PCA were well represented in T12. We got to see a brainless 458 pilot take out one of it's own kind in practice, driver must have had depth perception issues.

For those that missed out on Fanvision, get the F1 iphone app. for live timing, track position and instant reporting, it's not bad for the $.

Good effort from Hamilton in Q3, but it still was not good enough for pole.

PS: good to see tons of fans out during qualifying. Let's hope the support continues year after year.

Hoping for a clean start and a reliable RB tomorrow. Vettel is doing well under pressure, despite Alonso's newest headgames. Fred didn't look very strong today at all, ragged and 4/10ths off of Massa.

What the hell is going on with McLaren? Button gets the bad luck this weekend.

Nice performances by RoGro, Schumacher and particularly Hulkenberg splitting the Ferraris.

I think it all ends in Texas. Alonso will start P10 and on the dirty side of the grid due to Grojean being bumped to the 9th spot. ALO also has to worry about Button behind him.... Without a crash, it could be over quickly.

Vettel clinches this weekend.

As long as Newey is at RB nobody but Vettel wins championships.

We're entering the "Schumacher at Ferrari era again", what started as a cracker of a season has become boring and predictable, and people say what a great race Abu Dhabi was, only because of a fuel infraction that put Vettel at the rear, and Hammy's McLaren breaking down. Don't get me wrong, I was whooping for Kimi, but next year will be another RB walkover.

Even with the change to turbos in 2014, it'll be Vettel and RB, give Newey a chance to make a brand new design, what will happen ? more RB/Vettel wins...

YAWN

oh, McLaren should have hired Hulkenberg, hiring Perez was a huge mistake.

First of all, CoTA is an amazing venue from what I've seen so far! Built to perfection, very challenging track. Kudos!! Seriously considering going there next year...

Vettel has been untouchable all weekend. Yes, Newey can build the best car out there but look where Webber is in comparison and he's no slouch (except at the start of most races, hehe). And if you compare Lewis and Sebastian's quali laps, Vettel's was just better. He fought the car in T19 but it wasn't an issue. Lewis's lap was just not as clean.

Oh and Alonso sounds like Mitt Romney the weekend before the election... Dude, let's get real here! P8, dirty side of the grid, and a donkey cart underneath with Button right behind you.

Can't wait for the start tomorrow, T1 should be amazing to watch!

It would be epic if Alonso and Ferrari win the WDC. Agree that COTA looks awesome - at least a couple braking zones and some corners where the track falls away after a rise - certainly looks like it has been made deliberately challenging for the drivers in some subtle ways. Both Vettel and Alonso would be deserving champions although it is hard not to root for Alonso given that he has been in the inferior car most of the year. If he finishes this race behind Massa (what the hell?) then hats off to Vettel. Of course this can't possibly happen no matter how far Massa is ahead or how much faster he might be so what am I saying. It could be interesting if Massa holds other drivers up while he is waiting to let Alonso past. Maybe he will just straight line turn one and see if he can line up the Red Bulls as they turn in . . . I think I saw Flavio having a little chat with Massa after qualifying - kidding of course. Paging Mr. Nelson Piquet . . .

Vettel will be with Ferrari in 2014 and Perez brings a BIG wallet whereever he goes, but agree that Hulk is the better driver

Does anybody know of any websites the race can be streamed from? Can't get to a TV to watch on speed today and would love to watch it live on my computer if that is possible?
