Default NASCAR to run at Mid-Ohio?

Looks like the Nationwide series may be going there. It would be pretty cool to watch those cars go through China Beach/Madness.

Yeah, I know, you hate NASCAR, yadda yadda yadda...

Nascar is my secret little obsession. I'll absolutely be there to watch the action.

This will not end well. A Busch brother or Danica will not be allowed in the state of Ohio after this race.

may have to start a pool for how many filps the cars do after launching off the "ramp" at the end of the back straight/before madness, into the sand trap and over the catch wall

I mean the aston had like 14, the 350z had like 25, i would think nascar would have to top that

I don't have a clue what your talking about. Most here would welcome NA$CAR on one more road course.

If I buy a ticket to the fight, will a race break out?

Not gonna' be pretty, nationwide driving around China Beach, up the hill and down into Madness. Takes a little bit of, umm, patience.
Just saying.

the Aston didn't flip, it just set the distance record

Michael Andretti on the other hand.....

I think the Nationwide guys will put on a good show but I do think they need to do something about all the gravel traps; getting one of those things stuck there will mean automatic 3-5 lap caution. could be a LOT of yellow in that race.

Rumor was the new Mid Ohio owners, Green Savory Racing, were looking at removing China Beach and straightening out Madness in order to eliminate all the FCY's in the big pro races. Kinda crazy to remove one of the most well know "named" road course sections in the Country. Then again it was just a rumor.....

that would suck, and I see no reason to eliminate madness, if they can do something with China Beach, T1 and T2 gravel traps that will go a long way.
