Default Upcoming DE at Road Atlanta, Oct 27-28

For all participants in the upcoming DE this weekend at Road Atlanta:
I would like to ask that you all install your front tow hook before taking to the track. It will be in your tool kit. This will help me tremendously in case I must pull you from the gravel trap or give you a flat tow due to a mechanical. It will also prevent potential damage by me in removing your tow hook cover on your front bumper as I will be in a hurry.
If I must pull your car backwards out of a gravel trap then I will be happy to install the spare Porsche tow hook I carry with me in EV1 (Emergency Vehicle 1). If you have a car other than a Porsche I will make the swap for you, just stay in your car, helmet on.
So please, install your front tow hook.

Many Thanks!

Hi Bob,
Yes I missed you guys too. I was just covered up with work and since Audi was not racing I decided to skip for the first time in years. I hope to see you guys soon.

Matt, put the front tow hook in. Its called "insurance", be responsible, listen to your instructor you won't need it! Most of all be safe and have FUN!

Here is a turn by turn writeup about driving Road Atlanta to help take away some of the anxiety.

I hope to sit in a few track cars to determine what track seat I should eventually put in.
