A buddy was there today was able to do 10 or so laps in his Mustang Laguna Seca as well as some fellow NASA racers in there WC Mustang. They both said the track is amazing!

I was there- great GREAT GREAT facility. The race experience will be amazing for those attending...

also got to drive two cars on the track yesterday- my impala rental car and my Grand-Am ST MX5.

will do a full write up asap...the track is insanely technical and better in every way than any track I've ever driven.

Thanks for the pics. I watched some in car from Udell's WC mustang but it was a passenger holding a I phone not the best.

I hope you have some good footage cant wait to see it.

here is a top mounted GoPro Hero2 view of our second hot lap ever on COTA. our time dropped about 10 seconds from first lap to last lap during the "hi how are you" process through the day but the afternoon laps were all with passengers and no front straight, just out the pit and into the pit

OMG!!!! I can't wait. There is an almost surreal quality to the video. Kinda looks like a video game. Guess it's those beautiful formed border strips.. WOW?

yeah we had the first off too- at the 35 second mark you can see black strips on driver's right...that was from the impala rental car though. HAHA

we are looking at stepping into more rennlist friendly cars in 2014 when the merger happens so it will be good to get experience there now.

overall I think we did 40 laps, which is more than any other team that was present


also notice there aren't brake mark boards yet- which is really fun in a faster car! haha

I can't believe you buttholes got to drive the track already!? Any more track driving exercises that I can get a ride in? I live in Houston and can travel on a moments notice. More than anxious to get out on that track. I'm down the street in Houston. It's a 3 hour drive. be there in 2.

we are actually working on that...first they have to do the F1 race but then up until March when Grand-Am comes I'm sure there will be chances...not really much of a chance to have neighbors complain there.

PM me your email and when it gets closer I can get you the info, as a lot of it is still negotiable with the track, etc.

Will you be at the race?

Everyone's favorite Asian reached out saying he and the Mrs. were having a hard time finding accomodations. Have not spoken to him since.

I am locked and loaded. Arrive Thursday night...leave Monday.
