More during photos (not sure why they are sideways)- still getting worse before it gets better but this is about -50 lbs. Looking more like JRG's interior every day.
Note: slightly used 996 dash parts for sale. Perfect condition.

What kind of accelerator pedal is that? Is it two pieces connected or separate (top half moves)?

Dash looks awesome, btw.

I apologize for not getting back quicker I've been having new parts installed (in myself - not my car).

Answer is- I believe they can do it either way. In my case they sent me a replacement ECU and after I had removed the key assembly, immobilizer, a whole bunch of redundant wire (probably 10lbs total) and it still all worked, I sent them my old ECU. I believe you can also send them yours for modification - which may be important if youve already modified yours. I found them great to work with and have no hesitation in recommending them. It won't be cheap but it makes everything so much simpler and, more importantly for me, completely removes the constant source of failure for a roofless car - the immobilizer.

PS new dash looks extraordinary.

The pedal is a modified Rennline piece as they don't (or didn't) make one for the 993. They might now as I talked to them about making one about 2 yrs ago but moved on with this one. The plastic on the 996 pedal was just so flimsy- I broke it heel and toeing so needed something more robust. This works well and the top and bottom are independantly adjustable.

The dash piece- you mean the dash itself? It's from a mold kicking around the Atl area that my mechanic sourced. I must admit it does look pretty OEM.

As for the weight we'll get it on a scale soon before the next event and report back. I think it was like 2644 before but not sure what iteration that was and with how much fuel- I believe about 1/4 tank.

Of course the bigger Cup brakes are going to put some of the weight back

Haven't got the bill yet () but I think it was like $500-600 just for the dash. Made locally so shipping would need to be added and material given the size.
