Thanks for the suggestions, gents! That 3.2 Boxster looks great - Moton, Traqmate, all the expensive goodies - but I don't think I'll be ready to buy until next spring at the earliest, unless one of those amazing deals come along. I'll be spending lots of time learning all I can until then.
