I was fortunate enough to drive past the grid/pits set on my way to and from work every day, had to stop off occasionally for a poke around. Great to see the historic vehicles and locations being created out of an empty airfield.

My buddies were at the Nuremburg Ring when they were shooting . They were there trying to break the record for a production car and they were running out of time because of bad weather. Ron had some extra time at the end of the day that he didn’t need and he offered it to them. They were able to break the record and it really show what a great guy Ron is. I cant wait to see the movie.

Sean Edwards, Rennlister and Porsche Supercup driver, was used in part of the filming. They had him drive in a few scenes. Sean would Tweet about it as well. I recall one where they were shooting at the The 'Ring. He took some cool pictures.

IIRC, Sean's father also competed with Lauda and Hunt that same F1 season.

They were also filming on the back straight at Mosport this spring, apparently.
