Sounds like a whole lot of fun! I'll definitely mark the calendar but it is highly likely I will be out on the Pacific on business travel in that period.... :-(

Ok, enough of this talk about other races for #2 rod blowing, coolant spewing, A-Arm snapping front engine cars! Only good thig is if you guys have a race a week before the PCA TBolt race there is no way you can plug all your oil and coolant leaks before we run! Maybe only 2-3 944 caused double yellows this year per sprint!

FWIW, I happened to be talking to the race chair over the weekend and he told me that the first sprint on Sunday and the enduro are the two points paying races.

The second sprint on saturday will determine the pecking order for the Sunday race based on fastest lap time not finishing position...so it sounds like you can turn an early quick lap then park and save yourself and the equipment for Sunday morning.

Thanks for that useful information, Tom. However, it looks like the sit crooked head bolt snapping sloshy shift box lousy design made almost acceptable through ridiculous staggers and money spent kit car set wants to go back to discussions about their obsolete mounts. That right, Gary?

I would have to assume that considering those 944's are not even distant cousins of the "kit cars" Ferry envisioned 60 years ago!

Who said we ever wanted to be related ?
Anyway, I once owned one of those kit cars, and it was probably the best car that ever got away from me.
They're kit cars because they're constantly updated, backdated, sidedated, transdated, widened, lengthened, shortened, chopped, flaired, increased, decreased.....you get the idea.

That' cuz nothing ever breaks on these things and we get jealous of all the tinkering our backwards friends get to do to their cars.

Well I will admit to one other advantage you have over us front-engined types;
my car is like a rolling OVEN at this time of year.
So much so that I sat the last race weekend out during the heat wave.
