How far you move the wall only relates to mass and velocity but nobody cares about that either
Meh, horsepower is a unit of work, and it takes quite a bit of work to move a wall out of place...seen it done well a few times and tried it unsuccessfully myself... once...

Horsepower is a measure of the rate work (force x distance) is done. So it is not a unit of work.

Horsepower is a unit of power (work / time).

HP-second is a unit measure of work.

actually, power =force x speed. acceleration (or deceleration)= power/(mass x velocity)
so, I would think that how far the wall is moved is going to be related to power

Ill bite.. but first, HP is not a unit of work a HP-second is a unit of work

a snail with the right gearing can move the wall, but it might take some time.

so, i think the correct answer is energy!
