Default 944 Cup @ NJMP

This is a 944 Cup North Chapter event at NJMP/Lightning Circuit on July 28/29 featuring practice and qualifying sessions along with 2 points races for a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Online registration: http://clubregistration.net/driver/e...?event_id=4277

Both Cup and Super Cup classes will be available per 944 Cup rules: http://www.44cup.com/rules . This also includes by rule all PCA SP1, SP2, SP3, E and F class front engine Porsches.

Plus, for this weekend there will be a unlimited GT class available for front engine Porsches that do not fully meet the performance modifications required by the Cup official rules.

The 944 Cup will have its own run group for this event.

Registration fee is $385. Team entries are permitted for no additional cost.

I'll be there for sure, we need to get as much SuperCup interest as possible, it's a great circuit for us.

The schedule for this event will include a 20 minute practice, a 20 minute qualifying , and a 20 lap race on Saturday. For Sunday, there will be a 10 lap qualifying race followed by a 20 lap race.

A little confused here. PCA is saying three sprints plus a 60 min enduro for all run groups.
Also a slightly higher entry fee. Are there two schedules?

I think you are looking at two different events. The event for this thread is a 944 Cup race in July that is not being held in conjunction with PCA.

Up to 18 total entries, including plus 10 for Cup class and free Goodyear tires to the first place and fifth place finishers for the two sprint races, with Goodyears underneath.

Still time to get in. Entry includes lunch on Saturday and breakfast Sunday morning.
