OK guys, I've been watching all the WGI postings and jonesing for some race time.

I am leaving for VIR two weeks from today and have a lot of work to do before I hit the road.

Anyone need refueling help in Red? Happy to help for a little of your time in the black session.

Also, Is there a T&T on Thursday? Looks like last year there was a short evening session.

I was wondering the same but you need to be a BMWCCA member to get into see. Can somebody take a look?

i will be there with a contingency from Speedwerk NY. I think there are 6 of us. Looking forward to it as I couldnt make the Glen this year. As I mentioned in a different thread I believe there will be 4 run groups in total. 1 PCA advanced DE group, 2 PCA race groups, and 1 BMW race group. Basically the BMW club will run an event within the event.

just checked the BMWCCA web site. looks as if they only have about 20 racers signed up for the event.

I'm still in. To my disappointment one of the D cars pulled out right after the Glen. I wonder if he had a mechanical after finishing the enduro. I hope more sign up. Don Bryant was planning on signing up after the Glen - so far he's a no show. (maybe worried about the heat )
It has not been a very hot spring. I bet it doesn't reach 90 that weekend. Come on Gary, Sean join us at VIR.

BMW seldom has a lot of participants. Many drive Spec E30s and race with NASA.

H cars way down too. There were 25 at WG and only 6 now.

I'd thought the enduro washout would have left people wanting more...

The Glen and VIR are just too close together. 2 weeks to get the car ready and reorganize work for more time off is really difficult. One of these events should be in the fall. So should the Road Atlanta race.

I'm the VIR PCA club race registrar... confirmed 19 BMW racers - 3 E30's the rest E36. PCA numbers about the same as last year but several recent cancelations since the Glen. Did not get the flood of post Clash registrations I expected either.

Lots of talk about the calendar and moving these dates but deemed too hard between PCA Club Racing and the venues themselves. And someone will run when it's hot...
