Hey Cory,

Little late for the possible group buy, how much was the final price? It's only the rotors, no hats, right?

Anyone else interested in GB? Or maybe it would be better to ask on 993 TT forum.

I didn't do a group buy, just bought mine. I'm not sure a group buy would lower the price much anyway unless it was pretty big quantities. The price for slotted rotors is around $150 each (rotors only). If you want to buy some now you should just call Troy at Coleman and say you want the same as Cory Muscat. He said it would take about 2 weeks.

Wow, if they last twice as long but only cost $150, that's a nice bargain. I'm due soon so I may go this route as well. Thanks for all your work on this Cory.

What are you doing for mounting screws & nuts? I assume Porsche won't sell those, and reusing probably isn't a great idea.

Thanks Cory, sounds like a good deal indeed.

I just need to find hats first, anyone have extra hats they want to sell or know a source?

TIA!

I have a set of hats and possibly the hardware. I just bought a set of Porsche TT rotors, but I use adapters instead of hats. I'm coming to Pompano Friday and can bring them over if you want to meet me.

adapting the 322x32 993tt rotors or aftermarket equivalents to 911 is simple as the hat is flat, the 993/964 hats have an offset built into the hats

oe 993tt 322x32 w/ flat 911 hat(black( bolted to stock 911 hub

slotted, Colman 322x32 bolted to a stock 993tt hat on a 993

floating gireodisk(Colman annulus) 322x32 w/ aluminum hat on a 993

I sent you all the info Jim.

The surface finish on the rotors isn't as nice as the factory Brembos, it's machined (turned on lathe) rather than ground, but dimensionally they were fine and work good. I ordered mine slotted but was sent solid rotors (vented). I used them as-is because it was going to be so expensive to ship and I didn't want to wait. They have about 15 days on them now, so far so good.

I just received min today. They look good, seem about the same weight as stock, but I did not use a scale. The stock hats seem pretty light, is there enough weight savings on light weight hats to make a difference? There is the cooling benefit as well I guess.

Is it reasonable to reuse the hat to disc mounting bolts? What is the torque spec? I assume no thread lock due to the high heat, is this correct?

Also, break in with fresh pads or used? I have a set of used pargid RS29s and a set of used textars. I can always order a fresh set of something if it will extend the life.

Thanks, I will report back after mounting these and driving on them for a bit.

Default Quality and Longevity?

Reviving an old thread, and relating the experience to GT3's.

What has track history proven regarding the quality and longevity of these rotors? Under similar use/conditions on track, how does the quality and longevity compare with AP and PFC?

Very attractive price point, but have not become widely popular so trying understand what gives.

Thank you.

I've been running my rotors for three seasons (10 days per season) and they're still going strong. I'm running PFC97's until my pad inventory runs out. Much better than the stock rotors and the cost difference is substantial for my 930.
