Without goals to reach for what would racing be ? If I didn't keep setting the bar higher then I would just still be putting around on my little Honda Z50.

Sad part is Vikings guest driver in the GTS3 Boxster S might break into the 1.19's!

Hey it does take car and driver to get there, of course some drivers have the ability to get 110% out of their cars. We will see what he can do in the Boxster S.

Tell you what - if I see '34.xx twice at Hastings, I'll be at Hallett Sat., if not, I'll come down to watch Jay run 1:20.12. I'm worth 22's right now, and that's it.
I have to think you'll be faster than that at Hastings. I went there in 2010 and had a pressure plate failure right off the trailer and ran just one session. Turned a 36.0 using only 3rd gear the whole way. You should be good for 33s at Hastings if you are able to turn 22s at Hallett.

Appreciate that.

Although my car handling skills returned very quickly last year, I have yet to experience honest-to-god racing conditions (and I'm still adjusting myself to the new car).

I had to bail last weekend after my NASA comp school, practice starts and 3 lap fun "race"...this weekend will be my first one under real fire. We'll see how it goes, Sabados is not there, however Hemingway is - I'll do my best to attach myself to him, but will not put myself or others in any situation I wouldn't want to be in.

This is why I question Hallett; it's a big weekend.

Hallett is your home track tho , correct ?
Just maintain your line, if faster cars need to pass you it's up to them to make the pass, just stay consistent. You will be fine.

They always seem to enter late, but, they always show when they say they will.

We always seem to late register, but we will be there. Some people have suggested this is a tactic to throw others off for which event we will be at, but I assure you that's not the case, it's just a busy crew of people with many things to do and registering is usually at the bottom of the list. We always are very open about which events we are going to because we WANT more competition.
I'm not in charge of registering so it's beyond my control. - I'm in charge of making the cars and drivers faster.

So are you going to come race or just watch ? Come race ! More cars in the GTS3/4 mix is always great fun !

I'll be down Sat. to race; the field needs a shiny new backmarker.
