This is why I have the highest regard for Patrick Long
Win or lose, he ALWAYS has time to do the right thing. And always with a smile.

Hey Dave, that pic came from my iPhone! Looks much better on the computer than it did squinting at in the bright sunlight at LS that day! It was taken about 15 minutes prior to the warm up session on Saturday morning. Patrick was inside the garage, saw the kids hanging out at the roped off barrier, and walked straight out to talk to them. And he didn't just pose for the photo, he engaged in quite a bit of small talk with them. A class act.

PL is a class guy. A few years ago I was at Lime Rock and PL saw my son's karting t-shirt. He proceeded to spend about 10 minutes discussing how much karting meant to his racing experience.
