VIR PCA ZONE 2 Club Race
Registration opens tonight! Hoping to drum up some good interest this year for the event. Would love to see a good turnout and some good competition down there. It seems as if in past year's attendance has been relatively light compared to some of the other marquee events such as Watkins Glen and such. I am looking forward to this event as I can not make the Glen race this year. If you have never driven at VIR before it is one of the best tracks in my opinion and not to be missed!! June 22,23,24.

before people start complaining about the heat this time of year down there i will head that discussion off right now. I did a 5 day bertil roos racing school there that same time of year and the weather was beautiful, never an issue with the heat. also, the past 2 years at NJMP during the Rolex race in July it was about 140 degrees on the track, i dont think anything could ever be as hot as that and it was tolerable/manageble by hundreds of racers. get a cool suit system!

Was just at VIR for Dave Murry Track days, stunning facility. I'm hoping to get down, as long as I can get the time off work.
Complaining about heat and auto racing is a bit like complaining it's cold when you go skiing, kind of comes with the territory.....

Im in, was a great event last year....hopefully the trophy guy doesnt have the same showing...he robbed me of my first real podium trophy...
heat hasnt been that bad, yes hot but nothing terrible....couple in our group dont even have cool suits and used the old back of ice trick....
Looking forward to another great race
and if your not racing, the DE last year had a rediculous amount of time on track...my friend did it and couldnt believe how much run time there was

I am in. Never raced VIR other than the Ultimate Track Car Challenge (UTCC) which is more of a Time Trial format. First ever Enduro for me as well.... I guess I should not show up by myself for this one...

Pablo, my guys from Speedwerk NY who you paddocked with at LRP will be there. they are transporting a couple of cars down and providing track support for us that weekend. we will also be at NJMP Grand-Am this weekend.
