Awesome that you'll be there with the Speedwerk entourage Doug! I may talk to them this weekend about support at VIR. I also saw that Richard is registered in GT5S which is great. Unfortunately I'll have NOTHING to give you at VIR... with such a power deficit in that track I will be a veeeeery small dot on your mirrors!

Look forward to seeing you this weekend. I understand that as fast as you are at Thunderbolt, you'll be running top 5 overall....

I'm in from Florida with a couple of buddies from Tampa as well as a friend from Texas - looking forward to my first trip there!

I hope not - I'm planning on pulling one of Doug's sparkplugs. Let's see how fast he is running on just five cylinders, though I suspect he'll still beat me.

I notice the dinner is extra. Anybody know what is on the menu? Is it at the track?

I'm thinking about driving the enduro. I will need pit lane support. Anybody available? I run a D car so you will need to be in a/the faster group. I can help you with your pit stop.

Randy, I'm in the same boat but should be in the other group, so let's connect in early June and see what we can work out.

That would probably work out well. I haven't made a final decision on the enduro yet. I'm waiting to see what the weather will be like. (You like that Don B?)

I still want info about the dinner. Can I attend the awards ceremony w/o eating? Do I still get BEER?

It looks like there are about 86 drivers signed up so far for VIR. Hopefully we will get a lot more entrants after Watkins Glen as it seems like everyone is focused on that race right now. My guys from Speedwerk NY will be providing track support for me and a handful of others and I know that they would be willing to lend a hand with pit stops and refueling during the enduro. http://www.speedwerkny.com/

I missed this race last year due to conflict with work, not this year! Hope the roster keeps growing

Yes, as long as we have 15 or more entries for the SP 944 classes. We have 13 now, and I expect more once we get the Glen event behind us.

ps. If we get get 10 or more in a class, Goodyear is offering a tire contingency for both sprint races. Need to be registered with Goodyear and of course using their tires.

CP: Consider dropping the rear undertray and race in SP3 with the 944 boys.

Thanks for the welcoming suggestion! Diffuser and middle sections are fairly easy to remove. The splitter is the more challenging removal as I would have to build some sort of an undertray to maintain the flow to the radiator....

It certainly would rock to drop 200 pounds, take off the few aero pieces, and go get schooled by you guys !!!
