DV stars in the upcoming 3 day test
I hope the new Sauber with a Ferrari wing is everything they need it to be ....
Alonso to headline Ferrari’s ‘home’ test at Mugello 25 Apr 2012
Ferrari have confirmed that Fernando Alonso will conduct the bulk of their programme at next week’s three-day multi-team test at Mugello, the Tuscan circuit owned by the Italian team. Alonso will drive on Tuesday and Thursday, with team mate Felipe Massa at the wheel on Wednesday.
The Mugello session, which takes place on May 01-03, is the fourth and final test of the 2012 season, ignoring the traditional, three-day young driver test later in the year. It will also mark the first time since 2007 that multiple F1 teams have tested simultaneously at the 5.245 kilometre track.
On the Monday prior to the test Ferrari will be staging the ‘Passion Day’ at Mugello, an event aimed at all Scuderia fans. Attendees will be able to quiz the team’s drivers, race in karts on the Mugellino track, try their hand in the Ferrari Virtual Academy simulator, and see how they fare in carrying out a pit stop on a real Ferrari Formula One car.
The test itself is also open to the public for all three days, with admission costing between 21.5 Euro (11.5 concessions) and 42 Euro (21.5 concessions).
