Can't seem to find them. Any idea where you got them? (Yes, Equal-I-zer)

I got them at the ATC dealer near me, Performance Trailers, but would assume any Equal-I-zer dealer would have them. Did you try their website to find a local dealer? Also available through their online store. Can't remember if I needed the 8 or 10" version.

I have an ATC 24' (not V-nose) with an Equalizer hitch. Unfortunately, I don't remember the installation procedure I followed. I can take some pictures this weekend when I have the trailer at the house.

If you want the ultimate in real sway control:

http://www.propridehitch.com/product...ol-Hitch-.html

This or the Hensley arrow will flat out eliminate sway and the dreaded semi push. I even use it behind class A diesel pushers. It also gives you almost 90deg swing for maneuvering in tight spots. Pricey but second only to a fifth wheel....

I have an ATC V-nose as well and the bars dig into the frame. I've noticed this on other ATCs at the track. I could use some advice as well.

I've completed the install of the Equilizer hitch on my ATC V-nose, and once I was told about the longer brackets needed to fit around the frame, everything has been great. I absolutely LOVE this trailer and hitch combo!! Highly recommended!! I also got some race ramp 5.5" x 60" ramps and removed the folding flap on the end of the trailer ramp, and the whole thing is really close to perfect.

Randy,

Do you have any photos? Is your trailer a V-nose?

Yes, I have a 20' + 2' V-nose ATC Raven trailer. I don't have pictures of the hitch as yet, but will get some of the whole rig ASAP. I've completely lost my mind with the interior!! Should be interning to share, so you all can enjoy my OCD with me.

Yeah, that can't happen with the Equilizer.

Owners tell us there is no sway with an Aerovault due to its aerodynamic design. Here's a link to a video from one a transporter showing him passing 18 wheelers. Kind of fun to watch...

I appreciate that your trailers might be fantastic. There is not a dealer around where I live. Second, I also use my trailer as my trackside office, and appreciate the height and open side door. My ATC pulls wonderfully, no rough sway at all, and has room for much more storage. I hardly even know it's behind my SUV, even passing trucks. I also have a ProLine that does not pull nearly as well.

I've had some customers have success with the Andersen hitch on V-nose trailers that weren't ordered set up for a weight distributing hitch. May be worth looking into.

I have the Anderson on my 18 foot aluminum V-nose. It is simple, lightweight, quiet, and reasonably effective. It's also safer - no heavily loaded springs that you have to deal with. I can attach my trailer without tools at all, in well under a minute. It's ultimate abilities are a bit less in both weight distribution, and antisway capacities, but are still pretty reasonable. Antisway effects are pretty good, but not adustable (you can't really lock it down on a windy day) Overall, I'd buy another one over a traditional setup.
