Tom, I thought you did very well. You didn't put a wheel wrong, you did a new personal best, your car is working a lot better.
Maybe you passed someone who drives "flat out" who didn't think you were as fast as you are?
I'd ignore it. As Kevin said, if there were a real problem, the driver (or a Steward) would have sought you out on site..

Your help with car set up and coaching as always awe excellent and I highly recommend you to all.
As we all know a lot happens out the both car and driver that may be perceived to someone who doesn't really know what is going on or for that matter who is even driving
This person sent a letter to me assuming I was driving and I could have just been the car owner or sponsor for that matter
That's why face to face interaction is more in spiteful to all involved
I will continue to grow and improve and be as humble and courteous as possible and hope no one on the track doesn't want me to race or at least gives some constructive criticism pro or con welcome
Look forward to the next club race

No, it's always anesthesia's fault! When I was in the Navy and there was a duty roster, we used to joke that the spot for "Duty Fault" was permanently imprinted with "Anesthesia" so there was never any doubt!

Yes
And the same thing at VIR with me. Finally took an inside pass Turn 1 after three laps and never saw the yellow car after that.

Well as a high HP guy who did DE's for years and as a Porsche driving instructor I was always VERY aware if a car caught me he was doing faster laps and let him by pronto. One of the first rules of teaching drivers ed, same in racing if someone catches me no reason to try to hold them up, in racing that just slows both cars down.
Yeah, I got that concept.
