iPhone (harry's lap timer), any other new ones?
Any other new apps out there? Reviewed some old threads and looks like Harry's Lap timer is well liked.

New version of Harry's is coming out very soon. Already submitted to iStore. V14 doesn't work right with Dual external GPS (MPH is wrong, although timing is correct). Also, V14 only records every other lap. I used it last week at the same time as my normal data and found it within 1/10 in terms of lap time. For ease of use, it's pretty awesome.
V15 is going to have a bunch of new features and should be awesome.

TD -- do you know if you get updates free if you have V14? I'm think'n of using this more as an instructor tool (got all I need in SmartyCam and AIM Dash...). ...however, I need to get a few more of my friends in class to get iPhones so race could be watched by others on iPad on side of track.

I've been part of beta testing for HLT v15. Harry has done 13 versions of the beta, he's really working hard to make significant improvements.
Among other things, v15 will record consecutive laps, hot plug-in for external devices is much improved, video quality is excellent with a few new overlay items added.
Still the best value around.

Not as sophisticated, not as well know or liked, but you might want to check out Cantrell Motors Sports Lap Timer (CMS Lap Timer), there is a free version and a paid for version available through AppStore (itunes).

V15 is out. Just updated my iphone the other day. A question I have is.....to get the telemetry with a kiwi PLX do you need to download software for that too or does Harry's have it which would make it plug n play?
