Default Hill Climb

Anyone been involved in a hill climb event? Any reason the GT3 wouldn't do well?

It seems interesting, kind of a time trial with trees. I live in SW Ohio & the only events I've found are in western PA / eastern NY.

Someone did one down south(?) and posted some videos of it here. Car worked well - I think he won his class.

Cory at autometrics did the hill climb that you are thinking of. Set FTD in a cup car. It was very near the tail of the dragon.

911s are excellent for hillclimbs - bergrennen - if a little on the heavy side. Zwart seems to do OK too!

Yes,

Cory set FTD by a comfortable margin. The Cup was great, so I expect the GT3 would do well also.

Here is the link for the discussion shortly after the event.

I have done two. The first one went EXTREMELY well. During the second one I destroyed my Cayman S and it's not covered by insurance. $825/ month for the next four years for a car I will never own.
