Can I trouble you to walk me through this? I got the add-on but now it's not clear to me how to use it. The help pages wasn't much help either.
I'm watching the race right now on the ALMS website
How I have "Modify Headers" setup is:
"Select Action" tab - "ADD"
Name -------------- Value ------------- comment
X-forwarded-for - 193.35.131.194 - leave blank............ in the 3 boxes.
Hit save
Make sure the little green light to the right is on, and make sure the logo in the top left if red (Which means on...).
EDIT- It seems to work even without Modify Headers on, so I guess it really makes no difference. Modify Headers still works great for viewing F1 coverage that I know is blocked in this country.
For those with Firefox.... Get the "Modify Headers" add-on.
You can then change your header to read anywhere in the world. It works for streaming the "not available in your country" BBC videos, and even "Red Button" after the F1 races. I'm pretty sure that it will allow streaming of Sebring from the ALMS website.
Dude! This worked. Don't tell anyone or they'll catch on!
It actually did. Thanks! I'll get to watch the rest of the season live!
EDIT: Just read the rest of the thread. Were the alms and espn3 feeds open for all to watch?
I didn't comb all that carefully, but they may have been from posters outside of the US. That said, modifying headers is a very simple process on firefox, and even easier on chrome. No reason not to if you care to watch the rest of the season.
