East Coast folks, plan to be at NJMP on June 27th & 28th
In conjunction with David Murry Track Days, we are doing a high level race craft / driving skills clinic at NJMP on June 27 & 28.
This was the original concept:
https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...ls-clinic.html
There was such interest from East Coast folks that we decided to do this at NJMP (still working on a Texas event as well).
In addition to Tommy Archer and me, Larry Herman and Bob Turgeon will be part of the coaching crew.
You will need to sign up and pay for the David Murry event, and then separately for this clinic.
More details to come soon!

What a great opportunity for Rennlisters!
Thanks to David Murry Track Days, David Murry and Mark Taylor for the venue and the format and to Dave Scott and his team for putting this advanced clinic on.
This venue and format is ideal for the most effective, intensive study of both negotiating the race track and for improving driver technique. I urge all interested folks to sign up and make successful this event and VR's high level clinic.
With VR's blessing, I will be available privately at this event for interested Northeast clients and, if I am retained and there is interest, will be conducting a briefing for attendees of the high level race craft/driving skills clinic covering the methodology of how the curbing at Thunderbolt was placed and validated when I was hired to do that in June of 2008. I work with one or two drivers only, so please contact me privately for arrangements. I provide video and data equipment to those I work with.
Equipped with the intimate details of the topography, ebb and flow of this marvelous circuit and with proper study, this information will allow drivers to push the actual placement of the car on the Thunderbolt circuit to the subconscious level, allowing the driver to concentrate on the development of fundamental skills execution.
Obviously, this is all in addition to David's excellent program, so some serious learning will be going on!
Big thanks to David Murry, Mark Taylor, Dave Scott and his staff for making this happen!

Yup, Peter knows a whole lot about NJMP!
Just to be clear, since I have received some questions: Tommy is not able to ride in the right seat, but will drive everyone's car, lay down some baseline data, comment about car set--up and race craft, car control, etc. The other coaches there (myself, Larry, Bob, etc.) WILL be riding right seat to help clients implement what Tommy shows them.

I did DM last year at NJMP and it was an incredible amout of track time with surprisingly few participants.
This years event has the track time and a plethora of coaching op's. Would love to attend but will be in SoCal that week.
