Default Suit Comparions -advice needed

Looking at the Sparco Sprint and the Sparco "Sparco" suits - both FIA rated

The "Sparco" is box quilted - supposedly lighter and more comfortable. To me comfort in the car is very much worth the exta couple hundred dollars, but I am wondering if anyone else has experience with these suits and what their opinions are.

Give Dave a call at OG. I'm sure he can help.

Several friends have the Sparco EVO3 suit. They love them..

After frying once too often in my MOMO (lesson learned, don't save money here) I went to Stable Energies about 7 months ago to the Sparco. They had just gotten the newer EVO4 suits.

I can't even begin to tell you how much lighter feeling the EVO4 is than the previous generation EVO3. The difference is not subtle. The 4 is a huge improvement. Sparco hasn't updated their site to show the current EVO4 model yet. Don't know why.

The EVO4 is the current Sparco. Only get that EVO.. I love it. When I put it on for the first time, I couldn't stop saying "Holy Cr$p!!" Worth every penny. Amazing...

After handling and trying suits all last year, I just dropped the coin on a Sparco Superlegerra.

More than pleased - and it smells really nice! Dan will know, as I believe the Evo4 has the same treatment in the inner layer. The new stretch panels are nice as I have broad shoulders and chest; I was able to get a fit which really works without going custom (read Stand21).

check out wine country motorsports and go to their specials section. Both the sparco profy and technica x7 can be had at an awesome discount right now ($550 and $700, respectively)

my first suit was a sparco one and wasn't personally too crazy about it. after that was stolen (with the rest of my gear), I replaced it with an OMP suit I found on closeout. I have been much happier with the OMP product.

I've been very pleased with my '08 Sparco Xlight. Saferacer.com had a few high end Sparco closeouts on sale ($1300 suits for around $700 or so).

Contact Vic at VAS as you are fairly close to him for a custom fitting, makes a great suit, light, and very inexpensive for something made to custom fit.. http://www.vasracingsuits.com/
