When your tranny worked, it worked great, and I loved the gearing at TWS!

He was in the 1983 911 this last weekend and it's an early box. I think you drove his 996 at TWS.

Rob,

Let me check the schedule of things to come. If the stars align, I may be able to haul your car to Houston. I'll be at MSR-C this weekend, and should be trailering the GT3 (assuming the new brake controller comes in on time and there are no suprise issues). If it works out, I could feasibly leave my car at your house at Cresson and haul your car to Viking. I'm pretty sure I have an event at TWS or Cresson in the next month or two, so if he has time to get your car done, we could do another switcheroo.

One downside is you'll have to babysit my GT3

Again, not sure if everything will align, but I'll see if I can make it work.

PM or email and we'll try to work it out.

WOW! That is a very kind offer!! I'd certainly owe you one.

Let's see how the stars align, and if it works for you, I would certainly take you up on that. And your GT3 would be safe and sound in my garage, I'm always careful not to kick out the jack stand during the 'ol roll back the odometer routine.

Thinking about the downshift from 6th to 5th after flying through the transition before T2 does bring a sillly grin to my face.
