Reconfigured Turn One at Sebring

You are very quick, and this has nothing to do with the car ahead of you or how much you weigh.
Next time I see you I may share it with you. I see free time, in this video, in 3 corners. Easy peasy.

Not in my car on those tires, but I'm sure you can make me faster then 2:18 flat..
Looks like I'm improving about a second a year, so I will be in the 2:14's when the car is paid off.
The fewer payments the less margin I leave for error, for now I'm good with a foot here and there.
Looking at T1 a bit more (Video, not data yet, just segments below, not segment details), it seems that now I can hang on to the wall longer at the same minimum speed. There seemed good grip at the wall, just after the cone and the car would wash out slightly later so I would miss the worst of the bumps on the outside. I guess that is what you VR and Lolaman mean. I can detect no change at my entry into T1, I never really followed the cone all the way.

Would love to see the detail under the tab "Segment 1" and with the data superimposed over the video. You should take a look at where the green light comes on...
By staying closer to the wall (and longer, to a lesser degree) you relieve the lateral loading such that the bumps don't affect you as adversely.
This translates into your head consciously (or more likely, subconsciously) saying "I don't have as much to worry about (read: delay throttle application) because the car isn't moving around quite as much" and consequently, you push down on the gas sooner spending less time in the segment. It's not all about achieving highest vMin...
Good job!

T1 segmented.
Proves it is just as fast or faster. T1 is no excuse
looks like distance slightly shorter and min speed slightly less.
14.6 was my fastest lap last year, a 2:199 yet slowest T1 time, but I also had run a few 14.3 sector times in T1 that weekend last year.
This year T1 fastest sector time was 14.3, but all fast laps I ran exactly 14.3 just like best T1 sector of the weekend on the best lap of 2:18.9 this was on Friday afternoon, about 80F on good Toyo's (Corded next session) and it was 45F sun AM, I got to TBL of 2:182 because of the cold even with unshaved RA1's, yet never a clear lap sat AM or Sun AM.
So theoretically driving the same way IF I would have brought fresh shaved RA1's (I took full threads by mistake :-() and IF I would have had a clean lap without traffic Sat or Sun AM, I could maybe have put together a 2:17.

And yes, by turning in slightly sooner, with less steering angle, the car will take a LOT more speed thru 1.
