Is no one going to give him any grief for that parking job?

That's some dedication. Where's the splitter/front spoiler, in the back seat area with the floor jack handle and the rest of the luggage?

Very cool. This is a common site in Europe, but stateside we tend to think "SUV" + "big-*** trailer"...

Actually, they are in the front trunk.

By the way, the roof rack is rated for 175 lbs. Total load of 4 wheels & slicks = 170 lbs.

At least your wheels match. Imagine a $100,000 car with mis-matched wheels. Not even in the 4th Ward.

Dude - you don't know me - you only THINK you know me.....

This is my car, VR was kind enought to help me get it to Sebring. Car was outbound to Sebring on Monday 1/9 (my first chance to drive this epic, historic track...). Street rubber (=rain tires) was RA1 in 18" - no longer exists. Any little screw or nail on the way to Sebring would put me in the paddock (if it rains), not on the track. So I got a set of MPSS in 19" for a set of wheels that I had that "theoretically" fit. Tires arrived Thursday 1/5, mounted, test drive Friday. A little rubbing in the rear over bumps, so the "theoretical" fit was not perfect. In case you are not aware, Sebring has one or two bumps (don't want to appear too fluffy, but I think it is fair to say a few bits of uneven pavement may be found at Sebring). So now I need new wheels in 19" that I can order Friday for overnight delivery Saurday. The only wheels in the world that can fullfill this are at Tire Rack, but they only have the rears in this size. Rears ordered, arrive overnight, tires remounted, tested Sunday, car outbound Monday, and now I am here at Sebring. Track is EPIC, bucket list material ( all you jaded Florida guys, you should better appreciate what you have....).

Anyone who is more worried about matching wheels than a day at the track should just stay home. Here at Sebring, we have sunshine, warm air, blue skies, and stupid speed. In hindsight, all decisions made were correct and fully validated.

(P.S. unsolicited plug - Tire Rack rocks - they do what they say, do not overpromise, and will support you if they can. )
