Nah, neither of these guys are Texans. You won't have any problem understanding the Texans. As far as the Okies & Cajuns go, just nod and smile like the rest of the English speaking crowd does.

Hi all!

Been a while since I've posted on Rennlist. Nice to see a lot of the same faces.

A few PCA folks emailed me about TWS hosting an Open Track Day on Friday, Feb 3 for the hardcore crazies who aren't satisfied with only two days of driving fast. I'm happy to say that I got approval for that and have put it up on CR.net for those of you who were interested.

It'll just be for solo-qualified drivers, and we'll be hot from 8-5 (with an hour down for lunch and short breaks at the top of the hour to give the workers a chance to take bio breaks).

Cost will be $200 for the full day and $125 for a half day if you pre-register. Add $25 if you do walk up registration.

Here's the event link: http://www.clubregistration.net/index.cfm?direct=3921

...just found out that i am on the waiting list. I registred within a hour and a half of registration opening. Did not think it was already full. Is it on a FCFS basis or is it based on skill level and other criterea.
Hopefully some spots open up closer to the date.

Each group fills up on a first come first served basis. The lower run groups fill up very quickly. The higher run groups are typically open for a while. We also sometimes have to put folks in the green and blue run groups on wait list until we see how many instructors we have.

Have a bit of sympathy for the Cajun if you can. He had a very bad night last night. LSU apparently decided to Geaux Home before the kickoff.

Going to miss this one....

Been swamped -- haven't had time to triage from December.

If you see any scraps of a bumper wide left Turn 3 -- pull out the dust pan and
mail them to me :-)

Thanks for the info.

I also see a TWS Performance Driving School event the previous weekend. Has anybody tried that?

This was just discussed in another thread:

https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-a...ernatives.html

I instruct for both PCA and TWS PDS. PCA I think offers a better overall program, but TWS uses a lot of the same instructors, and puts on a very good event also.
