Default Wanted: FIA rated seat (expired OK)

I'm looking for an FIA rated seat. Anyone have one they're not using anymore?

I can get either a new Sparco Sprint 5 or Momo Start for $360 delivered to my door, anyone have any experience with either seat?

There was a post about a week ago about the Sabelt Racer Duo, but I think I'd rather have one with a shell rather than a frame. (Opinions?)

If you run SCCA club, no. If you run NASA, they require a back brace if it's over 5 years old. PCA it's 6 years.

D'oh, the Sprint 5 is a frame seat, so I guess I'm looking at the Momo Start or a used seat. Opinions?

If you looking to go low budget on a seat then get an aluminum seat they are built well and comfortable when done right but I would not buy a sprint five or the cheap momo frame seats if your racing. . There are plenty of places to cut corners the seat is not one of them.

I've probably ate too much over the holidays, but I still fit in a regular size seat.
Thanks.

Anyone know the best/least expensive way to ship a seat? I found one in NJ, but looking at UPS or FedEx they each want almost $150.00 to ship. USPS says it's too big.

No problem. Wish I had one that would work for you.

Mark,
I'm looking at a Sparco Evo that needs a new cover. What's the lead time on a replacement cover from Sparco? 01062KIT858INR or I could maybe live with 01062KIT858IBLU.

Kurt:
A new cover from Sparco would take about 3-6 weeks to come from Italy. The only ones they carry nowadays are the new style, like on the current Evo seat, but they will fit the older seats. They cost $175. If you have any questions, or need further information, let me know at your convenience.

Kind regards,

I picked up the seat last night, and ordered a new cover from Brian. He said you have one in stock.
Thanks.
