Absolutely Mark. Fav track and have heard great things about the Clash. The Rolex race weekend at NJMP sounds like it has been an awesome weekend as well with the pros there....

Pablo, I'm surprised that you've never run with PCA. Not to worry, you'll fit right in. And Mark is right, the Clash is one of the biggest Club Races of the year, and this year it's not on the Memorial weekend, so no excuses.

You know.... I sound and act like I have been around in NASA for a while, but in reality I was technically still a rookie through half 2010!!! It was good to do almost a full season in 2011 (missed NJMP Lightning in April).
I really like The Glen. My favorite track indeed. That is the one track record that escaped me this year... But on the other hand, I was blessed with a solid win in my first ever torrential rain, fog, and 2 inches of visibility race followed by the just-dried-last-minute-dry-setup win on Sun.... I think I now have a weird love-hate thing with rain races... especially after almost as bad a rain day on Sat at NJMP in the season ending race weekend.... I need to act on your advice and get one of those long-pole squegees to start...

Ready for the first PCA Club Race weekend. I had my licensing interview last week. The PCA Club Racing Program Coordinator, Susan, is really a Suppa Star! Fantastik.
Now I'll need to make sure the 968 is ready for a revived or new PCA Log Book, and also attend the Orientation Meeting during the first event.
I am internalizing that the best approach is to perhaps be conservative during the first few events and get a feel for the racers and dynamics on track.... I am going to really try to make the April 26 DE at Lime Rock before the races as well hoping to meet as many racers as possible. Will also be my first time there unfortunately, so I'll be sloouuwww.... yeah..yeah... more than usual....I know...

Hey Pablo,
Rick here. The black 350Z #42.
That car is gone now and I'll be driving a newly built Cayman S.
I too will give PCA a try while still doing some NASA events.
A faster car so I'll be acclimating to that.
Hope top see you out there.
Rick

Funny you say that, Sebring was my first PCA club race. Even funier was when I was on the grid looking around and all I see are cup cars for night practice. I radio my crew, "hey am I the only non cup out here" Reply "Yes" OK............. Classificaiton did get sorted out and all had a great time.

Yo Rick! Great news on the move up to the Cayman S. Nice... Its always been a pleasure racing with you in NASA so I look forward to see you in PCA soon. I may try to also make the PCA LRP DE in April 6/7. Let me know if you'll be up there...

Pablo, make sure you bring an exhaust system(Turn Down) that's compliant with the noice police at LR for the DE's. You're okay for the actual PCA Race weekend but all others will pose a challenge.
