Laser Jammers......

If the police were not predatory and making a business out of ticket writing I would agree. However, they love to wait at the bottom of hills and have ticket writing parties for unsuspecting taxpayers. I give the government enough money every year. I don't need them hiding in the bushes trying to fleece me of a few more dollars on my way to work.

Big cross section profile of you large truck not going to help you much in trying to make application work. Why you not just drive at legal speed? Any police just take one look at truck at speed and can guess + / - 5 Km how fast you going.

Hello, I read this forum religiously but have never had anything to say before. I registered to say that Laser Interceptor with HD sensors will easily protect a large truck.

That good technology has come so far. I make point that police with experience will still tell that you speeding and will still pull you over. Know this because it happened to classmate who had experimented with same devices. He finally beat ticket but it take long court time.

Even though I'm absolutely certain that this will not apply to anyone here , just remember that all of our ST rated trailer tires are rated for speeds up to but not exceeding 65mph. They tend to overheat and blow out at high speeds. Keep that in mind.

Subject: Tires for Trailer Use Only: General Information (replaces PSB 2006-06)
This bulletin provides important information to help your customers obtain the best performance from “Special Trailer” tires. Please review the following important points with your trailer tire customers.
Special Trailer (“ST”) Tires
Goodyear Marathon trailer tires are widely used in a variety of towable trailer applications and are designed and branded as “ST” (Special Trailer) tires. Industry standards dictate that tires with the ST designation are speed rated at 65 MPH (104 km/h) under normal inflation and load conditions. Based on these industry standards, if tires with the ST designation are used at speeds between 66 and 75 mph (106 km/h and 121 km/h), it is necessary to increase the cold inflation pressure by 10 psi (69 kPa) above the recommended pressure for the rated maximum load. Increasing the inflation pressure by 10 psi (69 kPa) does not provide any additional load carrying capacity. Do not exceed the maximum pressure for the wheel. If the maximum pressure for the wheel prohibits the increase of air pressure, then the maximum speed must be restricted to 65 mph (104 km/h). The cold inflation pressure must not exceed 10 psi (69 kPa) beyond the inflation specified for the maximum load of the tire.
Handy information. The extra psi gives a margin of safety in case you go down a long hill without your foot on the brake, or cruise control sticks on 75.

But what if you're trailering and the speed zone drops from 65 to 35 and there happens to be a cop hiding with a speed measurement device? You don't necessarily need to be going fast to be "speeding".

Think it best to obey all traffic laws and save laser money for beer when getting to destination.

We'll agree to disagree. Not to mention he may use that tow vehicle when not actually towing. All it takes is one ticket to easily justify the expense of the jammer between the actual ticket cost and the susequent points.
