Most likely I will start the year in D and see how my engine holds out.
You can mill the heads to increase compression. Cams may be an issue after that.

Euro Fuel distributor
Euro Warm up Regulator
Metal Fuel lines from fuel distributor to injectors
Euro ignition Distributor
Euro Rev limiting rotor
Big port heads
Big port "R" intake runners

Transmission has different 2nd vs 78-79 USA SC trans and different 5th gear vs. all USA trans.

I guess it just depends on where you finish on how correct your car really needs to be.

BTW Rothsport makes after market 9.8/1 pistons for 911 SPEC with the proper CIS piston dome.
Which, if any of these items come on the Pre-1981 Euro SC?

I was just going off the top of my head with this stuff.
With out a look at the spec books--
I think 78-79 Euro has the same 2nd gear
Big port heads and intake runners.
The ignition distributor will work, but it is not technically the same--same goes for the fuel distributor and warm up regulator.

Both Dan Jacobs and Jim Buckley have converted a lot of cars to Euro SC spec. They have both been PCA Scruts.....
I would contact them if you want to find out what is needed to convert for PCA, they will know exactly what needs changed to be compliant.

I am a Porsche mech, but I live in the black hole of the Porsche world--Springfield IL-- So I don't get to do all the fun stuff those guys do.

As I said, I will leave it to Dan J. to make sure i'm legal when and if the time comes to move to E. Now if Dan could only convert me to Freddie....

Randy - my 78 US has the big port heads stock..
