No. The certified dme is not a part of the PCA SP rules.

Additionally, the 944 Cup rules do not technically require a car be equipped with a certified dme to score points, rather a car must only have a certified dme for points to be counted towards being a National or Regional Champion.

The purpose of the certifed dme is to ensure cars are equipped with a single calibration or mapping setting that does not allow flipping a switch for purpose of circumventing the testing of a car on the dyno. PCA does not measure power on a dyno so the single map chip is not relevant, especially with allowed stock chips having multiple settings.
