Proposed PCA Road racing championship
Has anyone heard anything regarding PCA's desire to start a points based road racing championship in 2012?
Wasn't it about a 6-9 months ago they asked for our input regarding such a venture.
I've not heard or read a thing.

The information on the Points Series will be in the next issue of Club Racing News and should be available on the PCA.org web site within the next week. I'll post a notice when it is available on the web site.

Any Rolex watches in the offing? 
I think this is the best way to increase attendance. It would be nice to have a mini series within the larger championship, NE, SE MW, West. This may inspire some to do a bit of traveling for PCA events, which tend to be very geographically spaced out. Maybe this would allow some events to get back on the calendar, like Barber and drive up attendance at small venues like CMP and RRR. I hope it is well thought out and dynamic enough to allow for quick and needed changes.

Paradisenb, I'm sure that PCA CR would consider awarding Rolex watches to the national class champions if partiicipants in the points series would ante up a separate payment to PCA CR, over and above the licensing fee.......how about $5K?
I'll tell Bryan H. you suggested that.
As to your other requests/comments - I am fairly confident that there will also be "Zone" Championships, using the same points series rules but contested within each separate PCA Zone.
It should be an interesting year next year.

Re: Rolex Watches. Can't blame a guy for trying. I was thinking Rolex could come on as a sponsor.
I believe I heard DE points count as negatives. How many thousands would you like to transfer?

PCA CR Points Series rules now posted
The points series rules are posted on the PCA.org website in the club racing section on the bottom of the rules page.
