Im running motecs gps antenna
m800 ecu
SDL - this might be the difference. Works great for me don't know if it will work with others, adl adl2.
This are higher models so i don't know why they wouldnt work

ADL is an old dash - pre GPS and no longer made. The adl2 (also old version now) and adl3 (current model) as well as sdl support gps.

I know this is an old post, but want more info on this CDS unit that I have here.
I may or may not have the antenna for it. Can I still get it. Can I make it work with my Motec ADL1.

Call Sara at CDS. She is very nice and can help.
I believe the ADL (or ADL1, as you've termed it) will work with the CDS GPS and wheel speed sensor beacon replacement, but not with the MoTeC beacon add-on unit. I'll check, but call Sara first.

Bumping this old thread. Did anyone ever get their ADL unit to work with an onboard GPS? Looking for a solution for my 996 cup to avoid having to use a beacon

No GPS capability for lap timing, car position or speed measures for the ADL, period.
ADL2, ADL3, SDL, SDL3, CDL3, ACL, EDL and C1XX all good. ADL came out more than twelve years ago. No go.
CDS is no longer responding to inquiries after it's sale to new owners two years ago.
