(And yet) another motorsports fatality, though not in action
Rick Huseman died on the same day as Dan Wheldon, but in a plane crash. Eerily enough, his plane had left Las Vegas. Off-road guy. I only knew about it because he drives for Toyota, and a friend of mine is an engineer for Michael Waltrip.
And any aviation buffs may be interested to know it was in a V-tail Bonanza, aka the "doctor killer."
