Well loved and admired by a lot of kids in karting. He often ran New Castle and always took the time to talk to a kid, sign an autograph.

It was a privilege to see his raw talent early on in Formula Atlantics. I am so sad to see this unfold today. Dan will be missed greatly in the racing communities.

I don't know much, but it's amazing to me how such a proven individual had to prove himself over and over. Probably had his foot a percentage harder on the throttle compared to some others who just had to show up...
